Principal Speaks
“Success is about dedication. You may not be where you want to be or do what you want to do when you’re on the Journey. But you’ve got to be willing to have vision & foresight that leads you to an incredible end.” - Usher

In the academic session 2017-18, Mata Jai Kaur Public School has initiated the process to instil global dimension into the learning experience and registered for the British Council International School Award (ISA).
The British Council offers the International School Award (ISA) as an accreditation framework for schools to record and evaluate their international work which is reflected in every facet of the curriculum and the holistic outlook of the school.
ISA provides a framework for schools to develop an action plan and implement international activities throughout the year, and encourages schools to collaborate with overseas schools to create a rich learning experience for students through use of ICT, creative pedagogical practices and real context for learning.
I am grateful to the school authorities for giving me this opportunity to become the ISA Coordinator. A thoroughly researched and approved Action Plan has been implemented in full swing. I am confident that we will be able to instil 21st Century Skills in our young learners through this scheme.
