Celebrating cultural differences
Project Leader: Ms Preeti Uppal
It is an exhilarating task to be a project leader for this very enterprising and engaging activity. It is like exploring a whole new world. Our preparations started with putting the Action Plan in place. The countries selected for my collaborative project are India, Pakistan, U.K. and Sri Lanka. We tried to fabricate and infuse the ISA theme-Celebrating Cultural Differences with the regular teaching learning classroom activity hoping it will bring global issues in our curriculum, thus inculcating global outlook and skills in our students, teachers and the school as a whole. We decided to involve the students of class K.G., 1st, 2nd and 3rd totalling 720 in number. I also incorporated the suggestions and project ideas of my fellow teachers while doing planning for my project. So I am ready and excited to begin for my ISA journey! I know my journey as a project leader will be a journey full of exploration, challanges and achievements for the school, the team and me. Together we can and we will.
